THEFT AND VIOLENCE INTERVENTION

Theft Intervention

Assessment Consultants’ Theft Intervention Program (T.I.P.) is a
5-week (10 hours total) course designed for theft offenders. T.I.P.
is an all encompassing program which places its focus on education
and prevention in a therapeutic atmosphere. The following areas are covered:

• Personal and Societal Consequences of Theft
• Determining Needs vs. Wants 
• Values and Morals
• Emotions
• Rationalizations
• Impulse Control 
• Self Evaluation

The cost of the service is $180.00 per person.

Violence Intervention

Assessment Consultants’ Violence Intervention Program (V.I.P.) is a
5 week,domestic violence and anger management course which
places its primary focus on the dynamics of violent behavior and
abusive relationships. Clients are taught harm reduction skills to
assist them in preventing future episodes of violence. Clients are
educated on the following topics:

• Anger Management
• Stress and Healthy Coping Skills
• Family Dynamics & Modeling Behavior
• Characteristics of a Batterer
• The Cycle of Abuse
• Gender Differences
• Communication Skills

The cost of the program is $180.00 per person.
